CALLING ALL CRAFTERS: Winter Storm affects the Reservation hard

Local South Dakota Newspaper expresses concerns for many!

Elders are trapped and snowbound due to massive snowfall amounts and the power is out for 800+ residents.  Food supply and propane amounts have been diminished.

 

I am calling all crafters to please make a hat, mittens, or scarf  for either an adult or child.  Many grandchildren are affected!

I will be sending out Flat Rate boxes to the contacts at the reservation.   The winter wear will be distributed through the very hard to reach communities.  A Senior Center may also be of help for giving to many families in need!
